Counting Igor, three generations of Homrighausen were present at the ceremony. Igor is survived by three children and two grandchildren.

It is hard to summarize a life spanning 80 years with a few words on a website. Igor grew up in Gütersloh, Germany with Hans and Resi Homrighausen at "Pferdehof, S:t Georg" (Reit & PonyClub), and later moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where he married Catharina Frödin in 1967. He divorced Catharina in 1975 and married his second wife, Christina Forslund, in 1989.
Igor has always had an interest in and gotten along well with animals. He had a successful business breeding abyssinian cats with his Haily Selassis Cattery ("Silveraby").
Igor enjoyed eating and cooking good food, he was a skilled chef and also a trained professional baker. He also enjoyed practicing Wadō-ryū karate in Stockholm.
